 action & events Pocket of Resistance to play benefit concert for RNC arrestees!
I've been super upset and angry since the RNC riot cop juggernaut squished its way through our normally peaceful town a few weeks ago. I've spent a lot of time talking with people in the cities since then, hanging out with the independent journalists and other people who in some cases were really brutally impacted by what happened.
The benefit is to support the RNC Arrestees, including street medics, legal observers, independent journalists, and victims of mass arrests! Thursday 16th October, 2008 @ 7PM-10PM Featuring Junkyard Empire (from the RNC "No Peace for the Warmakers" concert) and Nigel Parry's band, Pocket of Resistance (from the RNC Block Party concert).
